Alfie’s first few years as an attorney were spent in a general practice firm with his father, great uncle and cousin in South Hill, Virginia. In the year, 2000 Alfie moved to the Northern Neck of Virginia and joined the firm of Rumsey & Bugg where he later became partner to the late Dexter C. Rumsey, III (2015), and focused his practice in the areas now covered by TT&E. In 2007 Alfie was recognized as one of Virginia’s Top Lawyers in the Rising Stars category by Richmond Magazine.  Although TT&E and Rumsey & Bugg are now separate firms, both are located in the same building in the heart of Irvington, Virginia.
